Get ready for the first-ever Maritime Dartscup 2025, proudly hosted by DRYNET in cooperation with the Maritime Cluster Norddeutschland e.V. and Duckdalben Hamburg – the very place where this exciting tournament will take place!
This is more than just a competition – it’s darts for a good cause. Almost all proceeds from this event will be donated to Duckdalben, supporting the incredible work they do for seafarers from all around the world.
- 16 teams of 3 players will compete in an epic maritime darts showdown.

Timetable Event
Arrival & Warm-up
Participants arrive, collect their name tags, and have the chance to practice. Use this time to get to know the other teams and get into the darting mood.
Welcome & Tournament Explanation
The event officially begins with a warm welcome from the organizers. We will explain the tournament structure, go over the rules, and answer any final questions. You’ll learn how the matches are structured and what to expect!
Group Stage Begins
Each team competes in the preliminary round. 301 Single-Out matches, lasting 30 minutes each.
- 16 teams compete at 4 boards, each team stays at their designated board.
- Each team plays against three different opponents.
- The top two teams from each board advance to the quarterfinals.
Last Group Stage Matches
The decisive matches to secure a spot in the quarterfinals. This is where things get serious!
Break & Results Evaluation
Time to relax! Grab a bite, chat with others, and prepare for the next round. Meanwhile, the group stage results are evaluated to determine the top eight teams advancing to the quarterfinals.
Quarterfinals Begin
Now the tension rises: The best 8 teams from the group stage compete in a new format.
- Each team plays against all other teams at their board.
- Again, the format is 501 but Double-Out, Best of 3.
- The top 4 teams advance to the semifinals!
Semifinals
The top 4 teams now battle for a spot in the final.
- Two matches run simultaneously on two boards.
- The winners proceed to the grand final.
- The losers compete for third place.

The grand finale of the Maritime Dartscup 2025!
Final: The best two teams face off in the decisive match.
Third Place Match: The losing semifinalists compete for a spot on the podium.
Award Ceremony & Closing
The best teams are honored, with prizes, medals, and a big round of applause for all participants. Afterwards, we wrap up the evening in a relaxed atmosphere and celebrate a successful tournament!

Yes, the entry fee is 150 euros per team. However, this includes a range of benefits and services for the participants.

No, but we encourage teams to design their own shirts to showcase their unity and team spirit!

6. Do I need to bring my own darts?
7. What kind of darts are used?
We play with traditional steel-tipped metal darts, not plastic darts. Make sure your darts meet the standard specifications.
8. What happens if I hit a Triple 20 or Bullseye (50)?
Great question! If you hit a Triple 20 or a Bullseye (50), you’ll have the opportunity to donate 20€ to Duckdalben as a mark of your success. Sounds like a bad deal at first? Maybe. But in reality, it’s a fantastic way to give back while celebrating your darting skills! We’re excited to see how much we can raise together for a great cause supporting the Seamen’s Mission. 🎯⚓
